Sorry to hear about your health Captian did not know what was happening since the web site was down. Putting you on my prayer list for you and The whole family.

Depending on what terrains you pick In Nova World game BHD which was the lead off for this game and the maps we made in BHD had a problem with some of the terrains once you got used to the ones you knew were hard to line up your pieces unless you got good using the 3d hotwire you could make them work on the bad terrains.

So I would think you might have some of the same problems of the ones for AW2. But no other game is like this game either and that is what makes the attraction for folks to keep playing it.

Im sure there are I’ve seen them on the servers being played TD and TKOH and DM but im sure there out there.

I know what you mean when you say play alone when the AI are almost 95% accurate. And I also plan on hosting my self soon and would like to know how to make that happen as well.  Im sure someone here will have an answer.

I tried it again I tried to open the file from here and I tried to save it and then open it and it says I have to go out on the web to find a program to open it. This is the only file of all the ones posted for maps. I DL all of them and this is the only one that won’t work have no idea like I said all the others were fine no problem they all work.

Not sure if its a web issue or computer issue just know I can’t  get this one to work. I have played it many times on the servers and that is why I wanted it. Thanks for trying

So get to the lobby and let it run and it will straighten its self out. I’ve been running lan and for some reason it wouldn’t let my son join and he is in the network. Wondering if that has anything to do with that? I have an old server  with Windows server 5 and another computer was going to set up and run as another server as well for the game but having issues with both machines right now. Running a third tier business connection should handle it and then some.

Will try what your saying about logging into the lobby and see what happens.  Thanks

Got the same problem here for two days now if you get on the servers it lags so bad you cant control your mouse to get to a game.

The icons do not show it must be nova world but I went to Black Hawk Down server and thats nova but no problems it works fine there. So not sure what is causing it. Hope it get better soon. Going to try and host from Nova and see if thats is possible.

I would like to get that as well Cap those are tremdous.

Sorry Cap just now responding to this my bad. But I understand setting servers so you can change what you can have on that map or in that server its not like that. I will be 30 mins or even longer in the map and all of a sudden I am running with a G3 set on full auto and then I change weapon to the next in line. I thought maybe I had hit the roll button on the mouse or an extra side button on the mouse but no I put a basic mouse  on and it still did it just as much as with the other’s.

So I guessing it might be something in the code that might be wrong with my game so I’m stumped. It only happen’s every now and then during a game and not all maps so not sure. But no big deal I thought if there was a easy fix I would love to try. Seems every time it happens it’s cridical and results are the same every time I DIE lol but hey the nature of War. If you can think of what it might be let me know. Again sorry  for the late answer.

Not sure about the terrains but I have seen a lot of the older maps converted to AW2 maps so it might be possible.

Hi Rellik like you there are still die hard fans of this and BHD hope to see you own the servers welcome to the group.

No I had a partion in the server and had Windows server 2003 on one and Windows XP on the other was running the BHD server on one and try to host AW2 on the other the video card crashed on me it was due to go though so in shop for tune up and new card. Once I have it back will try a few things and see what I can hopfully make one of them work. Seems even trying to host and server isnt working either so will see once I get the sever back.

No error code it plays fine on the server side and when my son tries to join or any one else it gives them the enumerating session.

I changed to the host set up in the game and even got rid of the router and when straight off my broad band modem and the connection isn’t the problem I can host up to 35 slots with no problem more but might have lag with some maps.

I host in BHD all the time I know a different game but this game originated from that game so thought most things would be about the same. And no problems when I do so I am stumped will get my server back in a week or so when I do ill try again and see will do it with the router and see if I can make it work that way.

Server had to go to the shop so will wait and see how this works out. Will try to host and serve on my main computer and see if I can make that work.

Sorry it started out as a question on installation of a program for Nile.

Not sure if I understand? I didn’t think I was being negative, if I was I do apologize, and I do like your maps. I like all the maps my self. Having a wide  range of maps makes us better players and gives us more ideas on making new maps. I have been working on 3 maps since I have more time will put more time into it now. I have made over 5 or 6 hundred BHD maps buts mostly TDM and a few Mission maps. I made training maps for BHD when the game was in beta format but that was as close to Coop maps I came back then. The TDM was the King back in the day. If this post is not in the right thread I apologize I started it in hopes of figuring out how to get one of the program’s to install, and could not do it the regular way. After trial and error, I got it done and posted back on it but I thought this was the place to ask when I posted it. Sorry Captian if I caused any troubles was not my intent.

My son and I used a Terabyte HD partitioned it and put windows 7 on one and windows 10 on the other so my wife could play the game with us and so far no problems boots every time.

Captain I found that when I installed on the same drive I was running the OS on I had the same problem so I did a new install on a slave drive that was a little slower than my C drive both a Ter. and found I could launch from the icon on the OS drive from my other drive and it only took one time to start up not sure if that helps but its how I was able to slove it on my machine.

maps now that I have time had to fight the cheoms and cancer till they died and now I can have some fun. 24 chemos and 5 yrs ready to have some fun before I kick off this planet. take care.
