      Hi Captain,

      thank you for your thoughts. The Value of 10 or 12 is just a thought, i still don’t know the Original Value but it must be somewhere inside of one these .pfff (maybe?). It’s not just about these AI’s but also that Players can jump with fallmps 30 without Parachute from (very) high Altitude without dying or injuring. Problem is, i want something between Original and 30/31 …. because for some Maps you need a little higher Value than Original but not as High as 30 or 31.

      Hi Captain,

      thank you for your answer 🙂 How did you do that for AW2? I know, if there’s a .MIS File, you can change it with the Editor…..but how to change it for NPZ/NPJ Files or BMS without a MIS-File?

      How about Map-Packs instead of “one-at-a-time”? As an example: “Red Dog’s First AW2 Maps”…with your three AW2 Maps (Disarment, Hostage Rescue, Green River). As a fan of your DFX2 & AW2 Maps, it would be great to be able to play new AW2 Maps from you 😉

      The Original Start Screens (and most templates for them) are 800×600….but my selfmade Start Screens are in 1027×768, 1280×1024 or 1280×720…even a few 1920×1080 without problems. Maybe the game loads faster if you take 800×600 instead of a larger size/resolution.

      Hi Red Dog,

      one way is to make a Screenshot inside the map and convert it to PCX. This PCX Picture need to have the same name like the map…so if you make a Start Screen for your map “Red Dog’s Backyard” the PCX must be titled “Red Dog’s Backyard”.

      I’ve changed a little in the Map and it is now playable:

      197 People86 Vehicles/Objects1000 Buildings/Decorations231 Markers13 Area Triggers

      26795K – Approximate Vertex Data

      This is what i’ve done: changed 3 different Types of Heli into 1 Typ of Heli, changed 3 Types of Boats into 1 Type of (Aw2)Boat. That’s all. Also, for personal taste, i’ve changed the Enviroment from Vanilla to AW2. So i now have a playable Map which is almost Original with AW2 Boats and AW2 Enviroment. I don’t know if i can/should upload it here because it’s not my Map.

      Ok, i had a look into the BMS and these are the Stats:

      “198 People88 Vehicles/Objects1000 Buildings/Decorations232 Markers13 Area Triggers

      ————————————–

      28323K – Approximate Vertex Data”

       

      I think everything with or above 28000K will cause “Mission too large” with Mods. Same is with DFX Missions played with AW2 I’ve tested. Some Missions are fine with Vanilla DFX but you can’t play them with DFX Mods or AW2. It has something to do that Mods have more Weapons, Graphics and so on.
