Welcome and what to expect from the new site and forum

Hi everyone and welcome to the new site!

I sure am glad that you decided to come here again 🙂
I know that the AW2 site has been down for quite while but now we are finally up and running again with a new site.

You can download AW2, check out the weapons, characters, terrains, videos and download maps.

Do I need to re-register again if I was already on the old site?

– Yes you do. Unfortunately it has not been possible to transfer the old accounts. Registering is easy and you can setup your nickname, upload avatar and setup signature as you want.

What to expect from the new site

Throughout the next weeks, I will be transferring posts from the old forum that I think it is nice to know and relevant for AW2 in terms of game information, nice-to-knows, mapping know-how and not at least all the cool AW2 maps that you guys have created.

This is a manual process where I create every single post – unfortunately it can not be automated.
Therefore it will take some time until it is complete.

So if you are wondering why the forum is a bit empty, that is why.
I could also have decided not to open the site until posts were transferred, but I didn’t wish to postpone it and keep you waiting any longer.
So I hope you will bear with me throughout this time. 🙂

The online mapping tools of the Object Viewer, Sound FX Viewer and AW2 Servers list in Novaworld is in progress as well. Until then you are welcome to use the Map building kit available in the downloads

In the meantime, you are welcome to use the forum and say hi or post any questions you might have about AW2.
