Recently it happend more often again that Novaworld was down due to whatever reasons…

Of course one doesn’t have to miss out on his favourite game just because of that. There are other ways to play together even if Nova ain’t working.
LAN is the answer ! I don’t really have to explain to you anymore that there are other ways to play Joint Operations over LAN via certain Tools. I am sure most of you have heard or used one of them before.
Names like Hamachi, Wippien, EasyVPN etc. come into mind.
They all share similarities and work more less, but I have tried them all out and I gotta tell you, they all have their PRO’s and CON’s but I wasn’t really happy with them in the long run.
Tunngle is a tool I first came across 2009 when it came out as Beta, which it still is. Back then with the issues in the beginning it wasn’t really that easy & good as it is today (in my oppinion) , so I used other Tools at that time.
But with Tunngle there was a steady progress over the last 2 years. It got better, it got easier, it became something great. The Developers are very active, trying to make the best out of their Software. Around it formed a very active Community of Players of so many different Games. A very friendly bunch of people incl. the Developers are trying to help any way they can.
Tunngle, you wonder what makes Tunngle so good ?
The question is best answered with what it can do.

Features: (Tunngle Basic)
- LAN Emulation
- Network Chat
- Tunngle API
- Dynamic Tunngle IP
- Powerful Blacklist
- Public Networks
- Basic Networks
- Gaming Performance
- Fully Customizable
- Strong Encryption
- File Transfer
- Mini Firewall
- Integrated Messenger
- Web Signature
- Search, Browse & Bookmark
- Tunngle Voice
- Class B/C Emulator
- Upgrade to Premium
- And a lot more!
Still to come: (Tunngle Premium)
- All Basic Features
- Premium Networks
- Clan Networks
- Custom Nickname
- Traffic Controller
- Firewall Management
- Tunngle DNS
- Automatic Reconnection
- Custom Tunngle IP
- Interlink
But the most important is, its so easy to make it work.

I have been using RadminVPN for about a year now with no issues playing AW2 with different folks around the world (dont need to forward ports or anything). Was wondering if anyone else has tried it?

May I ask what the standard is in 2025? I assume a lot has changed throughout the years, but with each and every individual using something else I have grown none the wiser, especially as a novice. I have absolutely no clue where and how to start to join a server 20 years later.
Thank you all for any helpfull clue I may receive

Edit: I see I have confused LAN with regular Novaworld servers, but I guess my question sort of remains.
I don’t know any better than Novaworld being sold and taking their business with them. So, Novaworld website wasn’t maintained anymore and lost the S in httpS, which made it dangerous to visit, and the servers were taken down.
How does that then work with AW2 when Novaworld took the servers down? Where/how are these AW2 servers that carry the Novaworld label being hosted and is it safe to join if Novaworld isn’t doing maintenance on them anymore? Can someone clarify to a tech novice?
Thank you again
