This mission requires assets or expansion that is not activatedNever had this issue before, Running windows 10 and tried as an admin, Even uninstalled and reinstalled the game.

Thanks for your message. It usually comes up with that message if you are trying to join a map that is not compatible with Advanced Warfare 2. Like an IC map.
Try joining a map that has “AW2” in the map name and see if that works
