Absolutely. I knew you had mentioned this memory limit already in an earlier post I saw on the forum even before I registered. Perhaps I should have been more specific with my question.

It is my understanding that patches overwrite/replace, so I thought, just like JO:E patch 1.7.5.2 is a choice to people who play/host but not a requirement, that for AW2 also an optional patch could be made that didn’t have to be installed, but would overwrite certain stuff with new skins for badguys or what have you, to accommodate a smaller group (of mapmakers) that would appreciate such a patch while respecting the game’s limits.

I hope I’m phrasing it right this time: an optional patch/update that overwrites and in doing so adds a few new things/skins for a specific group of mappers that doesn’t know how to reskin or mod.
