This is very kool, never seen it. I started making maps again and will investigate it more.

Now have 2 bugs with map…..maybe someone has had same with their map. Issues as follows:
- BGs will not man vehicles’ guns. They will man the gunboat or a helo but never man the guns.
- All my vehicles that are on concrete slab now fall through the slab. So far helos and jeeps are falling through slab and into the water.
Here is sample from WAC file. This is nothing new and quite simplesnd worked fine in earlier verions of my new map.
if never() then // Man the West Helo

Yes. Please make a sample of teleport for me. I may use it in my next new map.
Thank you.

Captain.
Thank you for the 4k update and very nice tutorial on how to set 4k up (easy). I will order a 4k monitor and give it a go in the near future.

Question:
What does the ssn2ssn(6,27) do? I do not know what the 6,27 is referring to. Same with ssnuse(2)?
ssn2ssn(6,27)
ssnuse(2)Full string:
ploop
if never() and SSNnearSSN(player,133915,150) then // Goto Ladder
ssn2ssn(6,27)
ssnuse(2)
ssn2ssn(3566,134654)
ssnuse(3566)
endif
end

Guys,
Kind of glad to hear others are havng same issue. I know of at least 3 others (running Win7) that are still having this issue. I have yet to find out why this is happening. Someone mentioned that an update may be causing this…..could be.
Here is exact description of what is happening: (I run Win7 Pro on my gaimg PC).
I double click the AW2 Launcher shortcut on my desktop and it starts up fine. I then click on “Start AW2” in lower left corner, nothing happens and launcher closes. I restart the AW2 Launcher and the it starts up fine. I then click on “Start AW2” in lower left corner and AW2 then starts normally.
Being creative, I created an AW2 shortcut on my desck top. I have to run it 2 times for AW2 to start. It appears that only first time it runs it fails for some reason. Then works normally whenever I double-click the shortcut.

Yes,
There are lots of us who want new maps and if new maps are made than more will play JO. I wish Captain (and others) would do an update to AW2 to fix a few bugs and make some improvements.

Gilbert (and anyone else),
Please let me know if you find a cure for this startup issue. I will also keep looking. It’s more an annoyance than a problem.

Thanks captain, if/when I get time to making some new maps these little tips help with designing maps. There are some many little things/features (mostly unnoticed) that just make AW2 a great game!
