    in the original version of the game has cool characters and you removed, should add and do not remove

    Hi there

    The answer is simple,
    The game is build on a game engine that does not have endless memory. So you can’t add endless characters to the game without compromising the memory usage of the game for loading maps for example.
    We tried the first option in the earlier beta versions of AW, where we had the original characters and then added new ones on top of that.
    But what we quickly found out was that, the more characters you add the less memory you have for the game to run stable.
    Since AW2 had to be compatible with Joint Ops Typhoon RIsing and Escalation maps, we had to make sure that they would still run despite if we add more things. So when developing the mod, its all about balance. Otherwise you will get those famous “out of memory” errors with certain maps and sometimes you see strange errors inside the game.
    So keeping that in mind, we decided to modify the old boring characters that all look the same, into some new ones that resemple more the different environments that you can encounter in AW2 like urban and city environments, jungle and deserts and black ops and snow.
