Taken from the classic Task Force Dagger Campaign, this is mission #24. Original concept and layout were preserved but significantly expanded upon.

Mission

  1. Chase and eliminate Taliban and al Qaida fighters,fleeing the nearby Khwaja Mastoon Ghundai camp towards the Pakistani border
  2. Clear the tunnels running through the mountain of enemy fighters
  3. Eliminate enemy fighters on the other end of the tunnel, trying to cross the border

Notes:

  • Watch out for snipers, RPGs trying to bring your transport down, spotters & mortars from nearby settlements, bunkers and counter-attacks ! Even when you don’t expect resistance, watch your six…and that of your teammates (including the helicopter crew).
  • Spawn point are hidden in objects or buildings. Just stand near them to take the spawnpoint


Fun fact:
The original mission merely had a simple layout and required you to search & destroy. I tried to add the need for a bit more tactics; as you often read in books on this subject, the retreating enemy had a read guard element to cover their troops’ withdrawal.
Adding to that: the common sense that a fleeing enemy is not per say disarmed and/or passive,and you will find this foe still a challenge despite being on the run, capable of launching a counter-attack any moment…

    Update 05-07-25: this map has been updated with a repaired bin file and several fixes. Recommending people who had it already to update. Staff confirms map to be functional. Kudos for the staff for uploading it ! Enjoy the map everybody
