Hey Wad,
I have had several computers setup as servers to host different JO mods, IC, ICE, SNA, AW2 and what I did was open port 32768, 32769, 32770, 32771 in each game config and router. -

@TheWad – we usually (Capt Hook & I) play on your server and we will test it out on Thanksgiving evening and see if he gets the blur on your server.
@Just George – Nah… I think it’s only happening when playing on my LAN server.
So we shall see this week if it’s only on my lan server or it’s on Novaworld’s servers.

This is happening with the AW2 and I am hosting on LAN. Does it happen on your server to anyone?

I am aware this is an AW2 forum but I want to see if anyone can remember … I cannot get two IC servers to connect behind my router. No matter what port I set in my router, it will only let players into the one with 32768 set in game.cfg. Enumerating session is what they get. I think you would get a quicker reply at the novaworld community forum if this is about another mod besides AW2. http://www.novaworld2.com/index.php?do=/public/forums/ You need to state what mod you are playing and if you are hosting a dedicated server or serve and play.

My friends that I play with state that when they are shot and only wounded – their screen goes blurry and their actions (walk, shoot, etc) are in slow motion. It doesn’t happen to me. Is there a setting to turn that off?

If players are confined in a certain area, I think a time limit would be a good idea for the amount of respawners.
Just so they don’t feel stuck or it becomes too repetitive. It’s important that they do feel like progress is being made to keep them engaged.
So if you keep that on top of mind, I think players will be happy. -

Good idea with the vehicles. As long as you stick to the same vehicles and not 10 different ones, you will keep a relatively low memory. Once 1 vehicle is inserted, the texture memory of that vehicle will be reused for the 2nd one you insert, so in that way it will limit the texture memory.

The way I see it, you can do it in 2 easy ways.
1) You can place the vehicle next to the spawnpoint and maybe use walls around it to hide or make the vehicle unavailable until the players have taken over the spawnpoint.2) You can place the vehicles by the spawnpoint and simply use the wac command “disablessn(xxxx)” to disable the…[Read more]
