







Taken from the classic Black Hawk Down Campaign, this is mission #9. Original concept and layout were (visually) duplicated and preserved.
Situation:
Habr Gedir clan members being held at a UN command building overpowered their guards, were reinforced by their clan and took control of the facility.
Mission
- Secure the hostages at a UN compound
- Clear the compound of all hostiles
- Fend off enemy counter attacks (including vehicles)
- Escort the hostages through the alleyways to the convoy, two blocks north-east of the compound

TIPS:
- Use the issued (M4)M203 grenade launcher to quickly take out the RPGs threatening the Little Birds during insertion !
- The more players enter the server/map, the more helos are deployed, the more (player produced) firepower, the easier the raid
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Spawn points are hidden in objects or buildings. Just stand near them to take the spawnpoint
- Convoy must remain intact
2 versions of this map are available – The PR version and the SF version.
PR version
The Public Release version is ideal for servers but works great locally too. See more info below.
- PR version is a more arcade approach to the map, allowing you to control the helo insertion yourself, but also join the map later on without being left behind.
- If LittleBirds are destroyed, the mission is not over, you will respawn and be able to pick up where you left off.
- Six players to a Little Bird; for more than six players a new Little Bird will appear and so on; three Little Birds total with a capacity of 18 players total to start the map/flight in. If more players enter early in the map, someone has to take a spawn point at the compound for them to enter the game or go back to pick them up.
SF version
The SF version is for private host sessions and contains a more realistic approach. See info below.
- This private version requires the host to be present and waits for everybody to get in the game and on the helos; they all leave at the same time.
- Host triggers the departure of the Little Birds by attaching to the (last/far right) Little Bird (in the line)
- Little Birds can take a punch (by constantly adding health points through WAC file), but a direct hit by an RPG will knock it out of the sky. (All) Bird(s) gone, mission over…
- Five players to a Little Bird; for more than five players a new Little Bird will appear and so on; three Little Birds total with a capacity of 15 players total to start the map/flight in. If more players enter early in the map, someone has to take a spawn point at the compound for them to enter the game
