I’ve also just tested the map and I get a “mission to large” error too.
It is because the map is made on the borderline of memory usage for JO:TR so it can just manage to load there.
So like ennio pointed out, it will not be able to do that with expansions or mods that offers more content.

I’ve also noticed a bit of lag on one of the halflife maps – I thought it might had to do with my machine but it could very well be that as well.

Thanks for your message. It usually comes up with that message if you are trying to join a map that is not compatible with Advanced Warfare 2. Like an IC map.
Try joining a map that has “AW2” in the map name and see if that works
- Once you have found a map in our map section, click on the “Download Map” button in the map page.
- This will download a zip file to your computer. Extract the contents of the zip file and copy the files into the awmod folder
- The map will now show up in the game under “Lan” > “Host Game” > Filter Missions to “COOPERATIVE” for easier viewing -…

I think that the learning curve is easiest with NILE and it is a “what you see if what you get” map editor with the 3D view.
It is easy to place objects and move them around.
With that in mind, it is easy to put them together and create custom buildings or structures that players can move around on.
